How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?


FLAIR magazine is a new project therefore it won't be known in the fashion magazine market, our main focus should remain on growth and attracting as many readers as possible in the beginning as we will need a solid base in order to remain in the market. This could be achieved through a number of ways, a common one being through distribution of media in a variety of channels; email subscriptions that include interesting news regarding the fashion world/updates in our issues, expanding to different social media platforms such as Instagram(which we already have) or YouTube like other big fashion magazine companies(Chanel), maybe even a newsletter including current events in FLAIR.


I feel as though our product would engage with audiences through it being relatable to certain people's circumstances/experiences. People will either hear or read this magazine and find some sort of closure, that others feel similarly, it's normal what they're going through and that they're not less than the next person, so they might be compelled to read more or subscribe to it (FLAIR magazine).


By having our magazine written in English we have a larger market to sell to, the international market. English is one of the most commonly spoken languages thus more people will be able to read our magazines in turn helping it grow faster than it would if it was targeted in a more local language(Romanian). We would promote our magazines mainly through our various social media channels such as our already existing Instagram page where we post snippers and sneak peeks into upcoming issues along with polls and questions to keep our audiences engaged and maybe even our YouTube channel which will be made in the future. We could post videos such as q and as or exclusive tours of our facilities and so on. Another great means of advertisement would be to get brand ambassadors to spread the word of our magazine, these people will be selected if they fit the criteria of being influential to have a decently large audience to endorse our magazine to along with having an audience that fits our buyers persona so that we'd have repeat buyers instead of them buying the magazine once, realizing it doesn't fit their niche and never purchasing our product again.


We are planning to distribute our magazine through physical and online outlets such as gas stations, small stores, libraries, etc. along with having the option to buy it off of our website. The online version of the magazine will be cheaper of course since we don't have to spend as much money on production as the physical copies. The price of our issues will be around 5 euros, this being slightly higher than competitors in our market however with a good reason, that of our lack of ads forcing us to compensate in other aspects such as prices being higher. Another fact worth mentioning is the level of success our Instagram page has garnered, we are already receiving offers of collaborations which although unexpected, are always welcomed.
