After talking and brainstorming ideas with my team, we arrived at the conclusion of the conventions we will use.
the layout isn't going to be complex, the focus is meant to remain on the condensed paragraphs and the big pictures on the pages. The reasoning for this is to leave a lot of room for interpretation, this will make our magazine stand out and make each reader experience unique as they can assimilate their life experiences/views onto the product.
We will also challenge the conventions of adding adverts and endorsements in our magazine. We've decided to not include these as they divert the attention of the readers and may ruin the experience they have reading. This will force us to raise the price slightly in order to compensate on the lost revenue however we do not think this is a big issue.
